Last month Google allowed specific accounts to trial the new ‘One Channel’ layout for profiles. This trial has now come to an end and is available immediately to any user who wants to get the layout before it’s rolled out to the masses.
Upgrading is simple: head to www.youtube.com/onechannel and scroll down to the bottom where there’s an option to switch to the new layout.
It’s worth noting that the recommended channel art size is 2120 x 1192. Don’t worry about how this might render differently on different devices, as once you upload an image, YouTube will generate previews of how the channel art will be displayed on Desktops, Televisions and Mobile.
